For the 100 theme thing! Just practicing with PS again. My realism isn't realistic enough though. :(

I wanted to imply that the darkness was spreading and spilling, yet almost reaching for the vulnerable looking girl (as chrissichan puts it :]). Despite the fact that darkness engulfs its victims, people always keep some with them.(hopefully the black dress represents that ;; *lame*).

Ohhh wooow.

I really like it. The evil looking eyes and such in the backround add to the scary n evilness of the darkness.

And the creepy hands reaching for her look really nice too.

I think you really DID achieve the "darkness is reaching but not really" effect (that IS what you were going for... right?). That was my first impression. It looked like there were monsters in the dark that were reaching, but upon further inspection it seemed that there really was nothing in the darkness other than darkness. VERY cool!

Eee. I already told you that I really like this. <3 The part about the black dress works though. xD Blending in with the background like that, whereas the rest of her is somewhat illuminated (and pretty!) That eyeball in the corner kinda creeps me out, but I suppose that's a good thing..
